Privacy Policy

ReelVoice — Studio voice cleaner (iOS / Android)

This Privacy Policy explains how ReelVoice (“ReelVoice”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app. We wrote it to be direct: Phase 1 core cleaning runs on your device. We do not require an account to record and clean voice.

Short version: Microphone audio for Record → Clean → Before/After stays on your phone unless you export or share a file yourself. No account is required for core features today.

1. Information we do not collect (Phase 1)

ReelVoice does not require you to create an account for core cleaning. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts to use Record, Clean, History, or Before/After playback on-device.

2. Microphone access

ReelVoice requests microphone permission so you can record voice. Audio is processed locally (including on-device noise cleaning). Recordings and cleaned files are stored in the app’s local storage on your device.

No silent upload of recordings for the Phase 1 on-device clean path.
Mic is not used in the background for cleaning when you are not recording.
You can deny microphone access; features that need recording will not work until you allow it.

3. Data stored on your device

Original and cleaned audio files you create
Local history of recent cleans
In-app preferences (for example cleaning mode selection)

Deleting the app removes this local data (subject to your OS backups).

4. Optional future / server features

Later versions may offer sign-in, cloud cleaning, background sound libraries, or subscriptions. If we introduce those, we will update this policy and App Store / Play privacy labels before collecting account or usage data on our servers.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. If you use the system share sheet to send a WAV elsewhere, that is under your control and the destination app’s privacy policy applies.

6. Children

ReelVoice is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
